The Roma Center for Women and Children Daje organized a round table on December 5th titled “Prevention of violence against women and children, in the premises of the City Municipality of Voždovac. The subject of the situation of women and children who are survivors of violence also came up, with special emphasis on the position of the Roma population, the application and efficiency of the new Law on prevention of domestic violence, as well as the importance of intersectoral cooperation in preventing violence against women and children.
Representatives of the Office for Human and Minority Rights GO Voždovac, Voždovac Police Station, Voždovac Health Center and representatives of NGOs of Roma Center for Women and Children Daje, ASTRA Anti-Human Trafficking Campaign and Women against Violence Network participated in the round table discussion.
